Questions about apps and customization

Apps are faster to set up and maintained for you, but they cost every month and can slow your store. Custom code is leaner and yours to keep. We recommend whichever fits the job and tell you the trade off.

Code written into a theme stays with that theme, so a new theme means redoing it. We tell you upfront when that applies, so it's a decision rather than a surprise.
